An interview confidentiality agreement otherwise known as an interview candidate non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is prepared by the company or employer, completed or filled in by a candidate to protect the employer or company from any disclosure of information made to a candidate who applies for a position. Many companies have employee NDAs that protect their proprietary information and trade secrets.
A legally-binding confidentiality agreement must feature the following components: a definition of confidential information, who is involved, why the recipient knows the information, exclusions or limits on confidential information, receiving party’s obligations, time frame or term, discloser to the recipient, injunctive clause, jurisdiction, names, signatures, and date signature of all parties.
